Queen's Brian May says working with Adam Lambert is a "gift from heaven"

Queen guitarist Brian May has described Adam Lambert as a "gift from heaven".

The veteran rock band has performed live with the 'Trespassing' star a number of times now, with their most recent team-up taking place at the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas in September.

Speaking backstage at that event, May said that getting the chance to work with Lambert is like a heavenly gift, revealing:

"We have a chance to do great things with Adam Lambert. He really is a wonderful foil for us, so it's a kind of gift from heaven, really."

Drummer Roger Taylor added: "I think even since we did a short tour of Europe last year with Adam, and even since then, he's just come on, he's just amazing. He's such a great interpreter of our songs and he has a great stage presence and we really enjoy working with him."

May meanwhile added that Lambert feels like "family" when working with Queen.
