Indie-rockers SinFiction set for double single release with ‘Painted Memories’ & ‘Ugly Baby’

Twin tracks set to be unleashed from a galaxy far far away on September 14th

An Oxford based band who specialise in lush indie rock with great production value but a gritty feel, SinFiction are ready to rock this summer with double single releases ‘Painted Memories’ and ‘Ugly Baby’. With a huge sound that stretches from the likes of Oasis to Kings of Leon via the Killers and early Strokes, they are already making waves in the industry having supported Alabama 3, Ocean Colours Scene, Steve Cradock and Toploader. Already making a splash with local papers and radio – including BBC Introducing – in Oxfordshire, the stage is now set for the band to break out into the wider UK consciousness.

It’s an ambition that isn’t too far from their grasp, as their brand of brash, energetic rock has already won over enough fans to crowdfund the £6000 production of these two singles. And with a dedicated fan base like that already behind them, they are on track to win over even more.

You can see for yourself what inspires such support with this teaser of one of the new tracks, ‘Ugly Baby’.

The single shows us that this is a band with real momentum and panache, and a real love for simply making their music and making it loud. Their support slot for Alabama 3 was amongst their highlights to date because it was part of Brixton jam “and was absolutely packed - a really dark venue great for loud rock music”.

This taste for power and volume was further proven by a great gig at Pinewood Studios where they were asked to turn down because their tracks were being picked up on the microphones of a small, independent film being shot on the facility – titled something like ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’.

So, having almost sneaked onto the soundtrack for the biggest film release of 2015, things are looking good for SinFiction. And with their previous album already rocking around the solar system (the band sent their last album to space - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hndIX4EYbkA) the sky may not even be the limit.
