Huge new talent, Simon Clothier

Quite Great are excited to announce that they have just started working with a huge new talent named Simon Clothier.

Having helped many artists to get signed by major labels and enjoy extensive download and cd sales, Quite Great have a heritage for discovering new artists and Simon encompasses all the key elements we search for when committing to developing mainstream musicians. His vocal range and superb musicianship of both the guitar and Ukulele, mark him down as an act who is sure to embrace the hearts of the general public.

‘The first time we heard his voice, we knew we had someone very special', explains Pete Bassett who founded Quite Great in 1996. ‘Add to that the wonderful human interest and potential mass market appeal and he can’t help but cast our minds back to when we first started working with Russell Watson , who became known as the People’s Tenor, due to his blue collar background. ‘Bassett continues. ‘Although Russell was based in the classical music genre and Simon is more rock orientated, the appeal to the general public could well be the same.’

Our plan is to release a number of tracks from his new album over the next few months and position him firmly in the Radio 2 and middle England market, if we do it successfully we hope he will very much appeal to the Jack Johnson through to Simply Red market.

Watch out for Simon on the run up to Christmas he is going to be huge.
