Razorlight busk in London

Razorlight are putting this afternoon's pleasant weather to good use with a live set in London's Covent Garden.

The 'America' rockers appeared at the famous area at 5pm GMT today, May 24, for a special performance they dubbed 'The Big Busk'. The event was organised to commemorate the 20th anniversary of The Big Issue magazine.

Frontman Johnny Borrell said of the free gig:

“It’s been a while since we've played a big London show and the response has been fantastic so we were looking to do something special."

Promotion for the event was fairly low-key as the band tweeted the news to their growing fan base on Twitter earlier:

"Who's coming to see us busk in Covent Garden this afternoon? We'll be at St Martins in the Field at 5pm!"
