Rebecca Ferguson: 'Having a new baby made me value myself'

Rebecca Ferguson has opened up on the positive effects her new child has had on her.

The singer welcomed her third child Arabella late last year.

Speaking to the Mirror, the former X Factor contestant said that having a new baby in her life has made her "grow up".

Ferguson said: "Having a baby has changed me as a person as I'm not interested in going out with the girls.

“I think all new mothers are like that really, it goes on the back seat. I think Arabella has completed me - she made me grow up, she made me value myself."

The singer meanwhile will release a reworked version of Billie Holiday's classic 1956 album 'Lady Sings The Blues' on March 9.
