Anthony Kiedis invites Harry Styles to take unused RHCP song

Anthony Kiedis has suggested that Harry Styles could use a discarded Red Hot Chili Peppers song.

The singer signed a solo record deal with Columbia after One Direction went on hiatus at the end of 2015.

Speaking to The Sun, Kiedis said the Brit could suit a track which never made it onto his band Red Hot Chili Peppers' new album 'The Getaway'.

He said: "We’ve got 20-30 songs that didn’t make the album and are on the cutting room floor.

"There’s one that could be great for young Harry."

Both Styles and Liam Payne have signed solo deals, while One Direction bandmate Niall Horan is rumoured to have penned his own contract too.

Louis Tomlinson has created his own record label imprint and is currently working on developing a girl group.
