Red Hot Chili Peppers postpone Dublin dates at the last minute

Red Hot Chili Peppers have postponed two shows due to take place in Dublin this week after singer Antony Kiedis became ill.

The band were due to perform at the 3 Arena on December 20 and 21. The group said on Monday (December 19): "We are so sorry that we cannot come to Dublin as planned for the next few days.

"Anthony has been fighting off the flu all week and after the show last night it was clear that he has to stop touring and recover, hence the decision to push back the shows to next year."

The two shows have been rescheduled to September 20 and 21. Tickets for the corresponding December shows will be valid.
