New York, NY (May 19th, 2016) – DNCE has released a sexy new video for their latest single “Toothbrush.”  Shot in LA and directed by Luke Monaghan (Disclosure, Sam Smith), the video stars sultry supermodel Ashley Graham, who has taken the fashion and modeling industry by storm.

The video arrives after a week-long social media frenzy as DNCE and Graham teased photos and clips in advance of the release, encouraging a discussion about the need for a more diverse representation of women in entertainment and culminating with press coverage from media outlets like Entertainment Weekly, InStyle, People, Sports Illustrated, Teen Vogue, The Hollywood Reporter, and more.  CBS’ The Talk recently aired a clip of the video during their “Trending Topics” segment, prompting a standing ovation from its audience and receiving praise across their panel for portraying an alternative to what has become the traditional leading lady. Watch it HERE.  What’s more, the song has already been added to powerhouse Top 40 radio stations like New York’s Z100 and Los Angeles’ KIISFM.

“Toothbrush” comes hot on the heels of DNCE’s breakthrough debut and double-platinum selling single “Cake By The Ocean.”  Released in the fall of 2015, ”Cake By The Ocean” entered the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.  The song is a certified smash at radio across multiple formats, reaching #1 at HAC, Top 10 at AC, and Top 5 on the Top 40 radio airplay chart, becoming one of the most played songs of the year. Internationally, “Cake By The Ocean” was #1 on the UK airplay chart for four consecutive weeks.  It reached Top 10 on iTunes in over 10 countries and has generated over 200 million streams on Spotify. To date, global consumption for the song is over 3.5 million.

The band is currently on tour in support if their debut EP, SWAAY, with multi-platinum singer and actress Selena Gomez (see dates below).  This week, DNCE will perform at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, which will air live on ABC, Sunday May 22nd.

Assembled by frontman Joe Jonas in the summer of 2015, DNCE’s all-star bandmates include bassist & keyboardist Cole Whittle, who co-founded the band Semi Precious Weapons, South Korean bred guitarist JinJoo, who has toured with the Jonas Brothers, Charli XCX, and CeeLo Green, and drummer Jack Lawless, who has previously joined the Jonas Brothers, Night Terrors of 1927, and Soft Swells on the road.
