NEW YORK, NY (August 26th, 2016) – Today, the ROADIES Official Soundtrack album(“Music From the SHOWTIME® Original Series ROADIES”) becomes available at all digital retailers via Stardog Records/Republic Records. A physical edition of the album hits store shelves next Friday September 2. Get it HERE!

About the soundtrack album, the show’s creator, executive producer, writer and director Cameron Crowe noted, "Great care was taken that the songs chosen for each artist have another meaning, a thread to our story or characters.  The only rule was: no lip-syncing to playback.  Not even to live versions recorded in a previous take.  These would be authentic live performances.  Real performances.  That’s where the magic happens, for an audience and even a crew.  And luckily for us on ROADIES, every performance."
 
Since the SHOWTIME® series premiere of ROADIES, each episode has boasted unforgettable performances, including Lindsey BuckinghamThe Head & the HeartReignwolfJohn Mellencamp, Jim James (of My Morning Jacket), and more. Meanwhile, the soundtrack features new and live music from a combination of rock ‘n’ roll legends and critically acclaimed modern voices, representing the classic and modern vanguards. The season finale of ROADIES will air Sunday, August 28th at 10 p.m. ET/PT on SHOWTIME on air, on demand and over the internet. Guest stars for the episode include Eddie Vedder, Jim James, Jackson Browne, Robyn Hitchcock, Nicole Atkins, Lucius, Joy Williams and Gary Clark Jr.
 
From creator, executive producer, writer and director Cameron Crowe, ROADIES offers a look into the reckless, romantic, funny and often poignant lives of a committed group of roadies who live for music and the de facto family they’ve formed along the way. Luke Wilson, Screen Actors Guild® Award nominee Carla Gugino, Imogen Poots, Rafe Spall, Academy Award® nominee Keisha Castle-Hughes, Peter Cambor, Colson Baker a.k.a. Machine Gun Kelly, and Ron White star in the ensemble cast. Luis Guzman, Jacqueline Byers, Finesse Mitchell, Branscombe Richmond and Tanc Sade guest star. Emmy and Tony® nominee Winnie Holzman serves as writer and executive producer, along with Emmy® winner J.J. Abrams, Crowe, Len Goldstein and Emmy winner Bryan Burk. Kathy Lingg is co-executive producer. ROADIES is produced by Bad Robot Productions, Vinyl Films and Dooley & Company Productions, in association with Warner Bros. Television.
