New York, NY (April 14,  2017) – Critically acclaimed Los Angeles alt-rock duo The ScoreEddie Anthony and Edan Dover—release their brand new Myths & Legends EP [Republic Records] at all digital retailers today. Get it HERE.

Among its four tracks, the EP includes the buzzing single “Legend.” With a simmering groove upheld by robust bluesy guitars and an irresistible howl, the track racked up nearly 2.25 million online streams in less than two months. In addition, the NBA has chosen “Legend” as the “theme” of the 2017 playoffs. Myths & Legends also boasts the arena-size anthem “Higher” as well as the bombastic soul chant of “Revolution.

Already today the EP has launched to the Top 25 on the iTunes alternative chart and the EP’s “Miracle” was featured in Spotify’s New Music Friday. Check out the full tracklisting below.

About the new EP, the guys shared the band said: We started writing together six years ago, and had no idea where it would take us. Just two dudes in New York, learning how to write and produce. We wrote a lot of bad songs, and tried a lot of different things. We moved to LA and wrote more songs…One pop song we wrote happened to land in a commercial, and that commercial happened to be really big. 'Spotify Viral #1' big. 'Major label record-deal' big. 'Worldwide booking agency' big. And all that was really cool, but we had a problem - we weren't actually a pop band. We like guitars. We like rock and roll. And we like it loud. So we started doing what we like, and it's been pretty damn cool so far. Our new EP Myths & Legends is four of the most honest songs we've ever written.”

Meanwhile, last year’s “Unstoppable” continues to generate heat. In addition to clocking over 15 million streams online, the song was featured in the blockbuster Power Rangers movie,  going Top 50 on the iTunes Top Alternative Songs Chart and climbing.

In 2015, The Score unleashed the international mega-smash “Oh My Love” and their debut Where Do You Run EP. Not only did the song achieve high-profile syncs in campaigns for MTV, Starbucks, KFC, and UK retailer ASDA, but it also impressively ignited a staggering 18 million Spotify streams. The twosome returned in 2016 with the Unstoppable EP and its hit title track. Along the way, they would earn acclaim from BillboardNylonDiffuser, and more in addition to landing music on the big screen in Power Rangers and Sing Street.
