It marks his official debut for LAVA/Republic Records and sets the stage for much more to come.

The track tempers a chantable melody with a head-nodding beat. Coming out swinging, it steers through a pop-punk gallop towards an instantly irresistible hook locked and loaded with uncontainable energy as he dreams of the best response to an ex! Echoing his sentiments, the music video finds him waking up from his slumber full of emotion and raging throughout his eclectic home. Coincidentally causing a stir on TikTok, the teaser video is already catching fire with over 700k views.

Regarding the song, 7evin7ins revealed, “‘Wake Up’ is a song that portrays the overall feeling of disappointment after a relationship comes to an end. The lyrics were written to be exactly what you might want to say to your ex significant other. At first glance, it may seem spiteful in a way, but I think it very much plays on the initial grief period after losing someone you love. I wrote the song about my own personal past experiences, and I feel many people can relate to or find comfort within this record."
