DreamWorks chief Jeffrey Katzenberg has revealed that Rihanna will record a concept album for an upcoming animated film.

The movie company are due to unleash the flick Home on November 26 and Rihanna is due to voice the character Gratuity 'Tip' Tucci.

However, boss Katzenberg confirmed in the company's 2013 review on Tuesday (February 25) that Rihanna will also make an album influenced by the film.

The movie will see an alien race land on Earth in order to escape from their evil enemies.

Rihanna's character then teams up with the aliens after their rivals find out they are based on Earth.

Jennifer Lopez and Big Bang star Jim Parsons are also on hand to provide voices for the film, which is based on Adam Rex's book The True Meaning of Smekday.
