Rihanna has stripped off for a racy Vogue Brazil photoshoot.

The Barbados superstar posed for the Mariano Vivanco photos earlier this year and the images have seen the light of day in the publication's May issue.

Rihanna herself has posted a lot of the pictures on Instagram and many see the 'Stay' singer go topless for the camera.

The shoot took place at Ilha Grande beach, Rio de Janeiro and one of the pictures documents Rihanna with just a pair of hot pants on.

There are two versions of the Vogue cover, with both featuring the singer.

Rihanna meanwhile is facing legal action after her former head of security sued her for alleged defamation.

Geoffrey Keating from Finglas, Dublin claims Rihanna made "nauseatingly offensive" comments and false accusations about him in emails to himself and his partner.
