Rihanna has expressed her desire to take on more acting roles.

The singer's first major foray into film came in the 2012 action movie Battleship.

She has now voiced the character Tip in upcoming animated film Home.

Speaking to Grazia, Rihanna confirmed that she is looking to add more acting roles to her resume.

The Barbados star said: "Acting is so new to me but I would love to do more - definitely.

"It's such a big world and there are so many skilled people in this industry. I feel like it's something you need to take seriously and it's something that I would be interested in taking seriously."

Home - which sees Tip left behind on Earth after aliens relocate the human race - will be released in the UK on March 20.
