Rihanna has delayed the opening of her Anti world tour.

The singer has postponed the first eight North America dates of her run.

A rep confirmed the move was a result of "production issues".

She was due to kick off the tour in San Diego, California on February 26.

Instead, Rihanna will open things on March 12 in Jacksonville, Florida.

The rescheduled dates have been moved to March and May.

It news comes just days after Rihanna pulled her performance at the Grammy Awards as she was at risk of "hemorrhaging her vocal cords".
