Rihanna has dismissed suggestion that she has a pop rivalry with Beyoncé.

The two singers have often been the subject of gossip online and in magazines.

However, the 'Anti' star told the April issue of Vogue that there is no friction between the pair.

Rihanna said the rivalry is a construct of rumourmongers who love negativity.

She said: "Here's the deal. They just get so excited to feast on something that's negative.

"Something that's competitive. Something that's, you know, a rivalry. And that's just not what I wake up to. Because I can only do me. And nobody else is going to be able to do that."

Rihanna allegedly recently liked then unliked a tweet that appeared to diss Beyoncé's comeback track 'Formation'.
