Record breaking Rihanna

Last night (January 9), Rihanna became the only female solo artist in the UK's chart history to beat an incredible record set by the iconic Elvis Presley.

By finally securing the number 1 position with her track 'What's My Name', the young superstar claimed the title of earning five number 1 singles in consecutive years, making her the first female soloist to achieve this in the UK.

Perhaps even more impressively, the 22 year old ended last night's chart rundown with a massive three singles in the top ten in the form of 'What's My Name' at number 1, 'Only Girl (In The World) at 9 and her collaboration with David Guetta, 'Who's That Chick?' at 10.

She tweeted:

"Another week! LOUD and What's my Name are the #1 ALBUM and SINGLE respectively!!! UK you are on FYAH!!!Rah Rah! THANK U! Where my #UKNavy"
