Rihanna has added an impressive eighth show to her string of gigs at London's O2 Arena later this year. 

The seven that she originally announced have almost completely sold out so the Bajan beauty and international superstar has decided to include another one. She will now also perform at the huge venue on December 21. 

The 'S&M' singer tweeted about the news:

"#RihannaNavy we just made history!!! 8 shows @ London O2 Arena #wheretheydodatat"

"Thank you UK!!! First 7 sold out!! If #8 goes we just may spend the rest of the year in London"

She will be appearing at London's O2 in October, November and December later this year and tickets for the new date will be on sale from Friday, March 11. Watch Rihanna perform 'Love The Way You Lie' live in Australia on March 5, here:
