Rihanna confirmed that she will be performing with Coldplay at this year's Grammy Awards.

The singer announced the news of the collaboration, which will take place on February 12, on her Twitter account.

The pair have already have history, with Rihanna lending guest vocals to Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto track 'Princess of China', which was released last year.

Rihanna's tweet said:

"My friends @ColdPlay and I will be sharing the stage for a performance at this years Annual Grammy Awards! #BONKERS"

The news follows the first official announcement of acts due to perform at the Grammys, which confirmed the likes of Nicki Minaj, Foo Fighters and Bruno Mars for the star-studded event.
