Bajan beauty Rihanna has kicked off 2012 by breaking yet another record. 

Last year was incredibly successful for the international superstar, who was named the most talked about person on Facebook and also became the first female artist to top both the singles and albums charts simultaneously - and twice - in the same year, and she is continuing her reign with a new milestone.  

Now, the 'We Found Love' songstress has been named the first female artist to reach 2 billion views on video hosting site Vevo. She tweeted the news to her fans yesterday, January 22, and wrote:

"First chic to EVER reach 2 BILLION views on VEVO!!!! Congrats#RihannaNavy!!!! #QueenzOfVEVO"

Canadian hitmaker Justin Bieber is the current king of VEVO, with over 2.3 billion views, and Lady Gaga is trailing just behind Rihanna with 1.8 billion to her name.
