Rihanna credits success to personal music tastes

Rihanna has credited her international success to her own personal tastes and confessed that she simply makes the kind of music she would like to hear.

Speaking to Ryan Seacrest for E! Online at the 2012 GRAMMY Awards, the star explained that she tailors her releases to her own preferences and uses her "instinct" to select potential albums tracks or singles:

"I have an instinct and I know what I like to hear. I love music and I feel like my fans just love good music. When I make music I always make something that I would love, if I don't love it chances are people won't love it either."

She picked up the Best Rap/Sung Collaboration GRAMMY for her duet with Kanye West on 'All Of The Lights' and also performed alongside Coldplay for a live rendition of their 'Mylo Xyloto' track, 'Princess Of China'.
