Bajan beauty Rihanna has clashed with comedienne Joan Rivers after she posted a distasteful tweet online about the 'Umbrella' star's former lover, Chris Brown.

Last weekend Rihanna's candid interview with Oprah Winfrey aired, in which she revealed that she still loves Brown despite all that's happened between them.

The songstress said: "It's awkward because I still love him. My stomach drops and I have to maintain this poker face and not let it get to the outer part of me."

Earlier today (August 24), Rivers took to social networking site Twitter and made a comment in reference to Rihanna's recent admission: "Rihanna confessed to Oprah Winfrey that she still loves Chris Brown. Idiot! Now it's MY turn to slap her."

Upon reading the message, Rihanna shot back with a response that clearly displayed her irritation: "@Joan_Rivers wow u really do get slow when you're old huh?"
