Chris Brown says Rihanna love is "for life"

Chris Brown says his relationship with Rihanna is "for life".

The stunning superstar recently confirmed her reconciliation with her violent ex-boyfriend Brown, after their romance ended in 2009 when he assaulted her on the eve of the Grammy Awards.

Rihanna has faced an abundance of criticism for letting Brown back into her life in recent months, but the R&B hunk insists that their reunion will go the distance.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Brown revealed: “I love her and she loves me. That is what it comes down to. Our love is for life. We are meant to be together.

He added: "People criticise both of us but they don’t know what we have. They don’t know me. It used to bother me but it doesn’t now. We have the right to make our own decisions and live our lives just how we want.”

Brown spoke openly about his mistake in a recent interview: "Sometimes you row, you fight, with the one you love and things get said, stuff spirals. That night was the deepest regret of my life, the biggest mistake. But she loves me – what can I say? I'm forgiven…but, yes, I worked hard for it."

He added: "I've learned a lot since that night and I've grown up. I was very young and I took a lot of stuff, fame, for granted. I didn't understand it. The support from those who do know me and the fans, who are incredible, got me through."
