Rihanna wins Topshop t-shirt ban

Topshop have been ordered to stop selling t-shirts with Rihanna's image printed on them.

As previously reported, the singer recently won a legal battle with the fashion retailer over image rights.

The case focused on t-shirts sold by Topshop with a photo of Rihanna on the front, which the court ruled had been unauthorised and as such misled fans of the 'Stay' star.

The retailer have now been banned from selling t-shirts of the singer, with Topshop also liable to pay Rihanna's legal costs.

The total amount comes to an estimated £919,000 - a figure which Mr Justice Birss admitted was "startling".

However, Topshop have the right to appeal the legal costs verdict.
