Film score composer and film director Nicole Russin-McFarland has released her second radio play classical album, "The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe." Russin-McFarland's original music compositions are paired against acting from Samantha V. Hutton, an in demand actress who has voiced advertisements for Activia, Burberry, Spotify, the NHS, Pinterest, Coca-Cola and more.

Orchestral tracks on the album were created by Russin-McFarland using a single plug-in, Striiiings from UJAM Instruments. She says: "I am beyond thrilled showing young people that when you don't always have a movie to create a film score, you can still create work opportunities for you and your friends. By using just one very affordable product to create this album's mini 'soundtrack,' it is proof you can do anything at home during the middle of a pandemic, regardless of one's age or any other variable."

"The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe" is released on London-based music distributor AWAL under the Lucky Pineapple Films record label. It is available on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and all digital streaming providers. Russin-McFarland's followup third radio play album is "The Cask of Amontillado by Edgar Allan Poe," releasing on Spotify this week.

A quirky, sweet former New York agency model harnessing the power of the Internet into a personal brand as a credible film director and film score composer reads like a Wes Anderson movie plot. In a career twist impossible before the millennial era, Nicole Russin-McFarland made a name for herself turning online views of her films and her social media presence into recognition for her filmmaking and film music. Her first feature film, the entirely self animated "The Homework's Revenge: Esther in Wonderland," was released in November 2021. Its film score has reached several million listens on Spotify.
