Rita Ora: 'I'm inspired by Madonna'

'R.I.P.' songstress Rita Ora has revealed that she looks up to the Queen of Pop and is inspired by Madonna's intense approach to her career.

During a new interview with Digital Spy, Ora confessed that she respects the 'Like A Virgin' icon and is influenced by her work ethic, which she wants to employ in her own life: "I re-watched 'In Bed With Madonna' recently - I haven't seen it for ages - and literally I'm so inspired by her work ethic and how she's involved with everything. I've always been like that, but not to that extent."

She also opened up about being signed to Jay Z's Roc Nation label, adding that it's always intimidating when she plays new music for him: "Yeah, all the time, I mean, it's Jay-Z! I'll never forget that it's also Jay Z, the guy with a heart who cares about his label and his artists. Obviously it's criticism that you don't want to hear, but need to hear, so you can fix it."

When asked if the rapper has ever given her any great advice, she admitted that he once said something she'll never forget: "Don't get lost in the hype."
