Rita Ora reveals why she chose 'The Voice' over 'The X Factor'

'I Will Never Let You Down' songstress Rita Ora has revealed that she decided to join the judging panel of 'The Voice' because the programme is well respected.

Speaking to The Daily Star newspaper about being one of the show's panelists, Ora confessed that people think highly of it and there's more focus on the musicianship of the contestants, which she really likes:

"The respect levels for this show are really high. It is well-received and respected by other artists. That is why I joined, because I really respected the format and how it musically connected to the contestants."

The beauty went onto add that sales figures seem to be the main issue nowadays and she thinks 'The Voice' steers finalists to be more concerned with their craft: "People are so fixated on numbers and having a Christmas number one. I respected the format of ‘The Voice’ and how I musically connected to it.”

'The Voice' is set to return to British television screens from Saturday, January 10 and Ora shared a few snapshots from the set with her Twitter followers earlier this afternoon (January 5).
