Rita Ora on Fifty Shades of Grey role: 'I needed a lot of coaching'

Rita Ora has admitted that she had a "lot of coaching" for her Fifty Shades of Grey film role.

The singer starred as Mia in the recently released movie adaptation of EL James' erotic novel.

Speaking to the German Glamour magazine, Ora admitted that it took her a while to get used to working on the set.

She said: "To be honest I needed a lot of coaching and some speech training, because I had to have a certain accent. It was really great to go into a completely different world, but it was not always easy."

Ora is also due to star in upcoming boxing movie Southpaw and she added that co-star Jake Gyllenhaal was a help when filming.

The Brit revealed: "It was an incredible experience! Jake made it very easy for me. The role that I play, is indeed very far away from my real life. But this role made me see a few things differently now."
