Rita Ora opens up about collaborating with musical icon Prince

Songstress Rita Ora has opened up about collaborating with musical icon Prince and confessed that she was surprised to see that he had live doves in his studio.

Speaking to Seth Meyers about the experience, Ora explained: "We went to Minneapolis, Paisley Park. Walked in (and) it was literally like a Prince museum: ornaments, the motorbike from Purple Rain (movie)... And then he has doves in there...! It was surreal. It was a whole week of just surreal music-ness juice (sic)."

The song that the pair worked on together is reported to appear on Prince's upcoming new album 'HitNRun', which is tipped for a September 7 release through Tidal, and she added that the recording experience was bizarre:

"It was so funny though, because I just kept hearing (doves cooing) and I'm like, 'These doves are really making noises! Everyone looks at them like they're angelic and gorgeous and there's just doves in the studio. I just found it really amazing."
