Rita Ora hits out about Jay-Z cheating claims: 'I find it incredibly disrespecful'

Rita Ora has voiced her opinion on the rumours that have dogged her regarding her being cited as the inspiration to Beyoncé's 'Sorry' song. The 'Lemonade' album track hints that Jay Z had an affair with a woman called 'Becky with the good hair'.

Ora told Vanity Fair that the speculation was 'rude and disrespectful'

The rumours reached their peak after Ora uploaded a photo of her wearing lemon-printed lingerie and a 'Not Becky' pin badge to a Met Ball after-party.

Ora was once signed to Jay Z's Roc Nation label but is now with Atlantic.

She told Vanity Fair: "First and foremost, Jay Z is my inspiration and one of my idols - lyrically, musically, business-wise. I still look up to him and his wife every day. Beyoncé was one of my biggest idols growing up.

"That (pin badge) was a present from Katy Perry. Maybe I was the only one seen wearing it, but there were others. As for the rest of it, I'm obvious, I'm just not the gossip queen.

"I find it incredibly rude and disrespectul to women in general (when) we get accused of something that's basically against the important part - the music."

Beyoncé has not spoken out publicly about the idenity of 'Becky'.
