Rita Ora really excited for new music in 2017: 'It makes me emotional - I've missed this'

Rita Ora has revealed that she can't wait to share her brand new music in the new year because she has really missed performing and hearing her fans singing her lyrics back to her from the audience.

Heat magazine quotes the star as saying: "I missed [performing]. I missed being home, I missed people hearing me sing and I missed people singing the words back to me that I wrote. It makes me really emotional but it makes me blessed I have this. I'm really lonely right now."

Earlier this month, the 'Shine Ya Light' sensation confessed that music icon Nile Rodgers has been working on her new record: "I've moved on to Atlantic, finally, and I'm on a great path. I've worked with some incredible people, like Stargate, and I've really taken it back into time."

She added to Billboard: "Even Nile Rodgers put down some cool guitar riffs on there. I have respected musicians that I've loved growing up, and band members who I've supported on tour - like Coldplay - have given me advice, and now I'm putting it to good use."
