Robin Thicke beats Katy Perry in US singles chart

Robin Thicke has dashed Katy Perry's hopes of landing another US No.1 single.

The pop songstress released her comeback track 'Roar' recently and it has become the biggest selling song of the past week in America, shifting 557,024 downloads.

However, the streaming and airplay count for Thicke's 'Blurred Lines' has ensured that the sultry singer has topped the Hot 100 chart for the 11th week running.

Lady Gaga's 'Roar' meanwhile is a new entry at No.6 after battling away against Perry over the last week.

Miley Cyrus' 'We Can't Stop' is in at No.3 whilst Imagine Dragons' 'Radioactive' lands at No.4.
