Two songs from “Morricone.Uncovered,” the long-awaited album by Romina Arena, will be available on a single release as of tomorrow. "Ti Ho Amato" and "What Can I Do?" both give a delicious sampling of the upcoming album that will be released on September 18, 2012. The single is available for $6.95 and can be ordered on the website of Perseverance Records (www.perseverancerecords.com). 

Born in Italy and now living in Los Angeles, California, Romina speaks ten different languages. "Ti Ho Amato" and "What Can I Do?" add lyrics in Italian and English to Ennio Morricone´s soundtracks from the motion pictures “Once Upon a Time in America” and “The Legend of 1900.” Romina says: “In addition to English and Italian, the songs from the album will also have lyrics in Spanish and French. I am extremely grateful that my mentor Ennio Morricone has allowed me to write these lyrics to his fantastic music.”

The upcoming album “Morricone.Uncovered” will feature 15 tracks, adding lyrics to several other movie soundtracks by Ennio Morricone. With a running time of 57 minutes, the album is available for $15.95 and can also be pre-ordered on the website of Perseverance Records.

About Romina Arena

Ennio Morricone´s career as film music composer started in 1961 with the film “Il Federale” directed by Luciano Salce, but he became famous worldwide with Sergio Leone’s westerns: A Fistful of Dollars (1964), For a Few Dollars More (1965), The Good, The Bad and the Ugly (1966), Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) and A Fistful of Dynamite (1971).
