Sky Sports will welcome television and radio presenter Mark Chapman to its Carabao Cup on-screen line-up for the 2022/23 competition starting this summer.

Mark Chapman has over 25 years broadcasting experience and is currently presenting BBC’s Match of The Day 2 and The Monday Night Club on BBC Radio 5 Live. He will join Sky Sports’ unrivalled team of football experts for every round of the knock-out cup competition from August 2022.

Mark Chapman said: “The Carabao Cup is a special football competition and I can’t wait to join Sky Sports’ live coverage next season. The record-breaking number of people watching live last year, as well as a sell-out Wembley Stadium for the Final demonstrates the continued popularity of the competition and its importance within the domestic game.”

Gary Hughes, Director of Football at Sky Sports said: “Mark will bring a wealth of football knowledge and broadcasting experience to Sky Sports’ live Carabao Cup coverage. We can’t wait for him to join the team for a competition that brings fans from all 92 clubs the ups, the downs and the upsets from Round One to the Wembley Final.”

The competition will start week commencing 10 August 2022 and will be available on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football through to the Final on 26 February 2023.

The Carabao Cup is part of an unrivalled line-up of live football on Sky Sports which includes fixtures every season from the Premier League, English Football League, Carabao Cup, Scottish Professional Football League and FA Women’s Super League.
