Fans get Fired-up for House of the Dragon as Iron Throne set to tour UK

New-look Iron Throne lands at the Tower of London ahead of the premiere of hotly anticipated prequel to global hit TV series ‘Game of Thrones’

Ahead of the UK premiere of House of the Dragon, the hotly anticipated prequel to the global phenomenon Game of Thrones, fans of the fantasy series can be first in line to sit on the show’s iconic Iron Throne.

Forged by the first king of the Targaryen dynasty, King Aegon, from the swords of his defeated enemies, The Iron Throne is the stuff of legend for Game of Thrones fans. The new-look Iron Throne will be touring the UK, arriving first at The Tower of London on Monday 8th August, a location steeped in medieval history.

Sky & streaming service NOW are giving fans the opportunity to visit the Iron Throne at the Tower of London for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and a chance of winning a money-can't-buy pair of tickets to the Sky premiere in Leicester Square on Monday 15th August.

With its rich history of Kings, Queens, conquest and invasion, The Tower of London will be home to the Iron Throne for 2 days only, before it makes it way to the star-studded Sky premiere of the series in Leicester Square.

Fans who wish to visit the Iron Throne will need to apply for tickets, with booking details set to be released on Sky (@SkyTV) & NOW (@NOW) social media channels at 9.a.m on Friday.

Those that secure a ticket will need to show this and ID at the Tower of London East Drawbridge to enter. Those that attend the Tower of London will enter into a draw to win tickets to the UK Premiere the following Monday.

The first 25 fans to sit on the Iron Throne per booking session will also receive a complementary 6-month NOW Entertainment Membership.

House of the Dragon airs on Sky Atlantic and streaming service NOW from August 22nd
