Sam Smith denies he has recorded James Bond theme: 'It's not me'

Sam Smith has again dismissed speculation that he has recorded the new James Bond theme.

The singer has long been linked to recording the main track for the upcoming Spectre movie, which will hit cinemas from October 26.

He previously denied the gossip in a radio interview, suggesting that Ellie Goulding may be doing it.

In a new interview with BBC Radio 2 on Thursday (September 3), Smith said that he hasn't done the song.

The singer stated: "That's not me. That's definitely not me."

He continued: "I've still got loads to do, I've got an Australia tour, but I kind of finish in December which is great, it gives me a chance to be in London, be in my home and go out with my friends."

Goulding recently stoked the speculation fire by tweeting a James Bond reference and later uploading a picture of herself outside the recording studio where the last theme song was cut to tape.
