Selena Gomez: 'I'm ready for people to know who I am now'

'Good For You' songstress Selena Gomez has revealed that she can't wait for her new album, entitled 'Revival', to drop because she wants people to hear how she has changed over the past few years.

Her new record is scheduled to be released on October 9 and she told her followers on Twitter that she has done a lot of maturing so is really looking forward to showcasing this new side of her personality:

"Disappointing seeing interviews I've done recently that sound like the exact same interview I did when I was 16... I just want to release the album already.. I'm ready for people to know who I am NOW. Print/type who I am NOW and stop being afraid it won't give your website hits."

During a recent interview with the Toby Knapp Show at Hot 99.5, the beauty confessed that her new album is very different to anything she has released before: "The album is so different. There’s a song about kindness on the album, it’s so true and authentic to who I am. I was trying to find another ‘Who Says’. Now, I can step up. I’ve worked with people I haven’t worked with before.”
