Selena Gomez says she would go out with Zayn Malik if he asked her.

The enormously talented star told InStyleUK that she would be keen to date the former One Direction man. She said: "If he had asked me out on a date, I would be seen with him. Just kidding, but not kidding."

It seems, however, that Gomez may have lost her chance as Malik was pictured at the weekend holding hands with model Gigi Hadid. The Brit split from fiancée and Little Mix member Perrie Edwards earlier this year.

Gomez meanwhile is currently single after breaking up with on-off partner Justin Bieber last year.

She released her latest album Revival in October.
