Songstress Selena Gomez has opened up about undergoing chemotherapy for Lupus, which is an autoimmune disease that attacks and destroys healthy tissue in your body. 

In a new interview with Billboard magazine, the beauty confessed that it has been a tough time and a stressful thing to go through in the public eye, but she's thankful for the massive amount of support she has received from fans:

"It has been overwhelming, and the response has been very supportive, which is nice—but it still makes me a little uncomfortable. I waited for the right time to talk about it because I am in a great place and I'm very healthy. I'm not trying to be loud about it: It was time to use my platform to help."
