Pop sensation Selena Gomez has been confirmed to host the 2011 MTV EMAs live from Belfast in November. 

The 'Love You Like A Love Song' star, who is dating Canadian hitmaker Justin Bieber, is set to present the main show from the city's Odyssey Arena on November 6 and can't wait for the exciting opportunity. 

In addition to hosting the entire show, Gomez will update the Twitter account with backstage gossip and photos and will provide a running commentary of events as they unfold live. She said:

"I'm so excited to be the host of the 2011 MTV EMAs - it's a dream come true! This is such a huge event that always recognises the biggest stars in music from across the globe, so it's a real honour to be MC at this year's show."
