Selena Gomez covers 'Cry Me A River'

Disney starlet Selena Gomez performed a cover of Justin Timberlake's emotional song, 'Cry Me A River', during a UNICEF concert this weekend.

She hosted the third annual event for the children's charity in New York and treated attendees to a rendition of the track. Although her relationship status remains unconfirmed, it has been reported that the 'Spring Breakers' actress has split with boyfriend Justin Bieber, who also covered Timberlake's break-up anthem a few months back.

Britain's The Daily Mail newspaper explained that during the concert, Gomez told the crowd: "I've been through a lot the last couple of months. It's been sad and cool, but interesting."

Speaking to MTV News recently, she added that she has experienced a "big turn" in her life and she will tell all on her brand new forthcoming album:

"I think for me it was actually interesting to see that towards the middle of me recording my record, a big turn happened to me and it was incredible to see how I applied that to music because I've never done that before and it's great. I think the older I'm getting the more I'm just kind of like I'm cool to share my side of the stories as much as I can, so I'm having a lot of fun."
