Selena Gomez has announced a one-off London date.

The show will come as part of a world tour as the US star promotes her forthcoming new album.

The singer and actress will play London's Hammersmith Apollo on September 7, with tickets going on sale at 9am UK time on April 19.

Gomez's 56-date tour global tour will see the 'Come & Get It' star play in Europe and North America in August, September, October and November.

Speaking in a statement about the forthcoming jaunt, the singer said:

"I couldn't be more excited to tour again but this time around the world. This has been such an interesting few months. My music has grown and I want my fans to see a new side of me. Can't wait to see y'all on the road!"

Her new album, meanwhile, is yet to receive a title or release date.
