'Come & Get It' beauty Selena Gomez has revealed the story behind an adorable snapshot her friend Taylor Swift recently shared of them, which shows the girls posing together on a wall overlooking a bay.

The 'I Knew You Were Trouble' superstar tweeted the image (pictured below) along with a birthday message earlier this week to celebrate Gomez turning 21 and she has now explained that it was taken on a weekend where they 'ran away together'.

Gomez told MTV's Hollywood Crush: "It’s actually at her house in Rhode Island. We were in Rhode Island!"

“I ran away for like a weekend, just to go be with her. And we were doing poses and just dancing all around her house, her beautiful, big property. And it was just amazing. It was so much fun. I love Taylor. She’s the best.”
