"What Are We Made Of" A Song For Europe
Every song starts somewhere and has a journey and the track "What Are We Made Of" began its path at a UK Eurovision songwriting camp at Water Rat Studio's in Woking Surrey organised by DWB in November 2016.
The writing team was made up of Jon Hallgren , Eric Lumiere and DWB.
Writers from DWB represented Norway in last years Eurovision and their vision was to have an impact on the UK competition, so many people were gathered from different countries, and What Are We Made Of was the song that made it through the selection process ,
Shortly before christmas, Auditions were held at the BBC for the selected songs, and this is where Nate Simpson blew the judges out of their chairs (again) with his first rendition of the song!
Nate Simpson went straight into DWB Studio's in Surrey and recorded the inspirational song.
Much rehearsing and working on the BBC YOU DECIDE program, culminated in the live tv show on the 27th January where Nate and 5 other contestants battled it out to represent the UK at Eurovision 2017 in Kiev.
The song is now available on Spotify, Itunes and all streaming services and you can still hear his amazing voice performing the heartfelt words, "cos we are more than skin and bones",
