Meredith Ostrom will be attending the first ever North East Film Festival (Newcastle International film festival) which has received global attention and the response has been phenomenal.

 It is set to be a huge event and the festival has invited film makers from 83 different countries, who are all hoping to be the ones in the spotlight and looking to spread some knowledge to a younger generation of film makers.  

Meredith Ostrom, who has appeared in various films such as Boogie Woogie, Factory Girl will be introducing iconic film director Abel Ferrara who is screening his independant film, Ms.45 and The Addiction.

Abel will be doing a Q&A for the very first Newcastle International Film Festival.

Abel gave Meredith her break in the industry by giving her her first ever acting roles in The Blackout and New Rose Hotel, he also undertook the role of mentor to Meredith while she attended NYU Tisch.

This festival will run over 4 days, 29th March- 1st April.
