Demeanour, a collaboration consisting of producer/songwriter Jack Davies and singer-songwriter and producer Amelia Martin. Both from Wales, they came together with the same passion for music, where they merged their contemporary styles of dance and pop, creating a unique sound, layered with soulful vocals. The first track released by the duo ‘Build You Up’ debuted in 2018, having great feedback from BBC Introducing Wales and on their online platforms. The duo have since performed at festivals across Wales, with hopes of venturing further into the music scene in the years to come. The pair are aiming to release a number of tracks in 2021, with their first release of the year set to be launched with DeeVu Records.

"Sober" written and produced by the duo Demeanour, is a track born in the modest home studio of Jack Davies, the producer behind this soulful acoustic dance track. The pair came up with the main hook whilst writing together, inspired by a relationship envisaged by the pair, creating an image of love and heartache, emotions often experienced in parallel, often in all relationships. With its’ acoustic start, and mellow but hard hitting drop on the words ‘you never kiss me when your sober’, reinforces the story the duo are trying to get across. This song is heartfelt and liberating, making it a perfect part to any playlist.
