Just a couple weeks ago Kent based Record Label DeeVu and Tim the headteacher of Five Acre Wood School, got together to discuss festive ideas for the school.
Year after year the record label has put on concerts along with the children however since the pandemic and the vulnerability of the pupils, these concerts were put on hold.
Together they decided a great experience for children was for them to record their own single for release. Artist Jack Rose heard about the idea via his label and decided to get involved.

The whole project was turned around in only 4 days.

  • Day 1: The label's producers created a new version of the backing to Hall Of fame and Jack Recorded his Vocals.

  • Day 2: Twenty five Children and their teachers were transported to the studio to record all their vocals and to record behind the scenes footage, as well as mixing down and mastering the track.

  • Day 3: With little more than a single camera and no lighting the team recorded the video at the school.

  • Day 4: All the footage was viewed rendered and edited to produce the video.

To top it all The news reached The Script and Drummer Glen Power recorded a special message to the school.

The whole team would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who was involved with the creation of the track and the video which will be available from the 17th December 2021 on all digital platforms via DeeVu Records.
