Angelheaded Hipster: The Songs of Marc Bolan and T. Rex will be celebrated over the next week with a series of late night television performances from artists who contributed to the "mind blowing" (Variety) and "star-studded" (Consequence of Sound) 26-song collection, released last week on BMG.

The Late Late Show with James Corden will feature three performances, beginning this evening with Sean Lennon & Charlotte Kemp Muhl's take on "Mambo Sun,” followed by Nick Cave's stripped back reimaging of "Cosmic Dancer" tomorrow, September 9, and Joan Jett's "Jeepster" on Thursday, September 10. Next Tuesday, September 15, Kesha will bring her "superstar turn" (SPIN) on T. Rex's "Children of The Revolution" to The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

Angelheaded Hipster is the final full-length album produced by "master of the form" (Wall Street Journal) Hal Willner, before he passed away from COVID-19 in April. Both James Corden and Jimmy Fallon paid tribute to Willner on air following his passing, as did their late night compatriots Seth Meyers and cast members of SNL, where Willner served as sketch music producer for nearly 40 years.

Angelheaded Hipster, which arrives ahead of T. Rex’s induction into the 2020 class of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, was released on September 4 to praise from Rolling Stone, NPR Music, Variety, The Wall Street Journal, Associated Press and many more. Other contributors to Angelheaded Hipster include Marc Almond, BORNS, Devendra Banhart, Helga Davis, Perry Farrell, Elysian Fields, Gavin Friday, Emily Haines, Jesse Harris, King Khan, Maria McKee, Father John Misty, John Cameron Mitchell, Gaby Moreno, Nena, Beth Orton, Peaches, Todd Rundgren, Lucinda Williams, Victoria Williams with Julian Lennon and U2 Feat. Elton John.
