Dillon Carmichael, the “most convincing young star since Stapleton” (Rolling Stone), puts the tradition of hyperbolic humor back into country music with his new single “Hot Beer,” out now via Riser House Records.

Listen to “Hot Beer," BELOW.

Produced by neo-traditionalist Jon Pardi, Carmichael’s “Hot Beer” was crafted by some of Nashville’s most acclaimed songwriters, including fast-rising country rocker HARDY, Ashley Gorley (50+ No. 1 songs), Hunter Phelps (Florida Georgia Line), and Ben Johnson (Justin Timberlake, Thomas Rhett). Carmichael’s deep-roaring vocals reminiscent of a young Randy Travis blends harmoniously with Pardi’s smooth-rolling Bakersfield production vibes, and the hilarious songwriting on “Hot Beer” takes the sap out of heartbreak, replacing it with off-the-wall candid humor.

"I heard this tune and it had me at the line about “Uncle Bubba's dip spit," says Carmichael. "One thing that made it even better was that this song was written by my buddy Hardy, aka “The Redneck,” along with the talented Ashley Gorley, Hunter Phelps and Ben Johnson. I also found out one of my all time favorites, Jon Pardi, wanted to produce the song, and he crushed it! In all seriousness... nothing about this song is serious."

Carmichael will celebrate the new track with a livestream show tonight (11.20), filmed from Nashville’s Ole Red bar. Tune-in at 7:30 PM ET / 6:30 PM CT on Carmichael’s Facebook page. For more information on Carmichael, visit dilloncarmichael.com.
