Film companies Lionsgate and Hasbro announced this week that 'Elastic Heart' sensation Sia will be involved in the upcoming big screen project, 'My Little Pony: The Movie'.

Sia will write two original songs for the film's soundtrack and is also set to voice a pony pop-star character named Songbird Serenade. 

Other voice actors that have signed up to be in the movie include 'Orange Is The New Black' star Uzo Aduba, Kristin Chenoweth, and actress Emily Blunt. 

Sia, meanwhile, recently confessed that she was so anxious ahead of stepping out on stage at New York's Central Park for Good Morning America's Summer Concert Series that she "cried" in the dressing room: 

"I do not love performing! I get really scared and I just cried in the dressing room! I'm really croaky and I was like, 'I'm not gonna hit the high note and I want everyone to like me...' It's scary to perform. I do it because I want to make you (fans) happy."
